Underground polyethylene (PE) gas pipe
Category: Gas transmission pipe
Description
Product Introduction
PE gas pipes are produced using gas-specific polyethylene materials, and their specifications, dimensions, and performance meet the requirements of the GB/T15558.2-2023 standard. The pipes have characteristics such as good flexibility, strong corrosion resistance, lightweight, and excellent impact resistance.
Product Features
1. Reliable connection: The pipeline system is connected using a hot melt method, and the strength of the joints is higher than that of the pipe body;
2. Good low-temperature impact resistance: The low-temperature embrittlement temperature of polyethylene is very low, allowing safe use within the temperature range of (-20-40)℃;
3. Good stress crack resistance: It has low notch sensitivity, high shear strength, and excellent scratch resistance, with outstanding environmental stress crack resistance;
4. Good chemical corrosion resistance: It can withstand corrosion from various chemical media, and the chemical substances present in the soil will not cause any degradation to the pipes;
5. Aging resistance and long service life: It can be stored or used outdoors without damage from ultraviolet radiation;
6. Good flexibility: It is easy to bend, allowing for changes in pipeline direction to bypass obstacles, which can reduce the amount of fittings used and lower installation costs;
7. Low resistance: It has a smooth inner surface with a Manning coefficient of 0.009, providing higher transport capacity compared to traditional pipes while also reducing pressure loss and water transport energy consumption;
8. Convenient handling: It is lighter than concrete pipes, galvanized pipes, and steel pipes, significantly reducing installation costs.
Application Fields
Mainly used for the transmission and distribution of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and artificial coal gas; it can also be used in fields such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and papermaking.
