PE-RTII type heat-resistant polyethylene heating pipes, as a new type of insulated composite plastic pipeline, have the characteristics of corrosion resistance and long service life.
The hot and cold water resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) pipe is a type of non-crosslinked polyethylene pipe that can be used for hot water. Some have highlighted its non-crosslinked characteristics, calling it "high-temperature resistant non-crosslinked polyethylene pipe." It is produced using a special molecular design and synthesis process, resulting in a medium/high-density polyethylene. By copolymerizing ethylene and octene, and controlling the number and distribution of side chains, a unique molecular structure is achieved to enhance the heat resistance of the PE pipe. The presence of short branched chains from octene prevents the large molecules of PE from crystallizing into a flat crystalline structure; instead, they interconnect within several bodies, forming links between the crystals. This retains the good flexibility, high thermal conductivity, and inertness of the PE pipe while also improving its pressure resistance.
